Producer and Engineer Luke Wooten has earned dozens of #1s and multiple awards with artists such as Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, The SteelDrivers, and The Louvin Brothers. Over the past 20 years, he has collaborated with producers such as Frank Liddell, Brett Beavers, and Carl Jackson.

Luke has long been a fan of the original iLoud MTMs for traveling and was anticipating IK's release of the next logical step. Now with a pair of Precision MTMs at Station West, his recording studio complex in Nashville, Luke was happy to share his thoughts on using IK's professional studio monitors.

If I had to compare the Precision to other monitors, it would probably be something that had a sub because of their low-end definition.

It doesn't matter how you're mixing, what matters is what's coming out of the speakers and how you're able to identify problems in the mix. I would absolutely recommend the Precisions!

It's unusual to have that many artists on an album and not have multiple rounds of mix notes. That speaks to how well mixes translate from the Precision MTMs.
