March 23, 2021 - IK Multimedia is pleased to offer all AmpliTube 5 users brand new artist presets created by Slash in celebration of AmpliTube 5's rightful place as the #1 in guitar amp and FX modeling software.
The celebration began four weeks ago with the free release of AmpliTube's Soldano® SLO-100™ amp head model for all AmpliTube users, followed by new artist presets from Joe Satriani, Gus G and Marty Friedman. Learn more about these artist presets and how to get your free Soldano SLO-100* here.
Now it's time for Slash to share his new presets for AmpliTube 5.

The lead guitarist for Guns n' Roses and more recently fronting his own band featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Slash is an iconic player who knows how to create exciting tones in AmpliTube 5. I have to say, it's probably the best amp modeling software that I've ever worked with. I've used AmpliTube to record a whole bunch of different things as final recordings.
How to get your free Slash presets
Ready for some incredible tones? Just make sure you've downloaded and installed AmpliTube 5 Custom Shop.
Then access IK's Product Manager software, go to "My products" and click on AmpliTube 5. All the presets will be available for download from the Related Downloads folder there.
Then just drag these files into the AmpliTube 5 presets folder on your Mac or PC.
