To celebrate the release of Total Studio 3 MAX and the opening of IK Multimedia's new U.S. recording facility, we've lined up a growing number of artists and producers over the upcoming weeks to present how they use Total Studio 3 MAX in their work.

This week we'll be broadcasting directly from our studio mixing room in Sunrise, Florida. The theme will be IK's AmpliTube 5 MAX, and what's new inside the complete guitar and bass tone studio included in Total Studio 3 MAX.

Host Dave "Squids" Kerzner will introduce a study in guitar tone with David Domminney Fowler. David is an expert guitarist who has worked with Deep Purple and Peter Frampton and is currently with the Australian Pink Floyd Show. David will run a pre-recorded blues performance on guitar through practically every amp in AmpliTube 5, demoing the great variety of tones available.

Next Dave will welcome Mark Menghi and Joe Satriani for a conversation on the best practices for creating and using presets in AmpliTube 5. Joe's a master at crafting new tones and will present his thoughts and philosophy on recording and using presets to make tracks "pop."

Dave will then go over the cool new gear in AmpliTube 5 MAX, starting with the new cabinet section, the artist packs with prerecorded appearances by Slash and Jamie Humphries and the amazing pedal collection that are all included.
