Marc Doty has always been well known as a prime source source for analog synthesizer demonstrations, information, and all things music. Referred to as a "synth guru", he decided to put our UNO Synth to the test. After a short introduction, some exploration of preset sounds, and more timbral demonstrations, Marc Doty has come to the following conclusion about our newest analog synth:
It’s a 2-oscillator, analog, mono synth with a 12dB per octave multi-mode filter. All of that in this tiny package—tiny, inexpensive package–– it’s pretty amazing...
Could a synthesizer this small with this interface be a good analog synthesizer?…I am absolutely shocked that this interface is as intuitive as it is; for not being a knob per function interface, this interface is so immediate, it’s astounding.
Regarding tone, I don’t know how they packed a great-sounding analog synthesizer into a small package with this interface, but that’s what they did.
